The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's track team continued action today in Ohio at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship. The Warhawks had one thrower and two sprinters highlight the day.

In throws, Kenni Czarnecki (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) represented the Warhawks in the Women's Shot Put. Czarnecki finished 18th overall in the discus yesterday, and finished 18th overall in the Shot Put again on Friday. Czarnecki's best throw came on her final attempt, with a 13.25m toss. 

Over to the track both sprinters met their qualifying times to reach the finals of their respective events.

Caleb Beightol (Belgium, Wis./Cedar Grove-Belgium) finished 9th overall in the qualifier to take the last spot in the finals of the Men's 100m. The sophomore timed in at 10.6 seconds in the fastest race of the day

Dakota Mitchell (Sun Prairie, Wis./West) secured her spot in the Women's 100m with an 11.82 finish. The freshman sprinter finished 6th overall out of the qualifying times. 

After day two, the women's team sits in 26th place overall with 5 team points. The men will look to score team points as the Championship rounds up with all Finals tomorrow.
