Former University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football standout Jake Kumerow (2012-14) is active for the Buffalo Bills' game this Sunday, Nov. 29, against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Kumerow, a wide receiver, was part of the Bills' 53-man active roster in each of the team's last two games, a home win over Seattle on Nov. 8 and a loss at Arizona on Nov. 15. He played primarily on special teams and was on the field for three offensive snaps during the two games, according to RotoWire.

Following the game at Arizona, Kumerow returned to the practice squad, but was elevated Saturday after the Bills placed wide receiver John Brown on Injured Reserve.

Kumerow helped the Warhawks win two national championships and two Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles during his three-year career. A two-time All-American, he was named D3football.com Offensive Player of the Year in 2014.
