The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's track and field team will be represented by 11 student-athletes in seven different events, while the women's team qualified in one event at the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Championships, which begin Thursday at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
Junior
Abbie Felton (Burlington, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) will seek her seventh career All-America medal as she is set to compete for the women in the 400-meter dash. Her time of 56.19 seconds ranks 11th among qualifiers.
Junior
Alex Duff (Oregon, Wis./Oregon) will compete in a pair of events to lead the men. The five-time All-American qualified in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.27, second-best in the nation, and the 400-meter hurdles with a mark of 53.30, good for 14th. Duff was an All-American in both events last season.

Dwayne Ford (Racine, Wis./Case), junior
Jake Schneider (Plymouth, Wis./Plymouth) and sophomore
Tyreik Thomas (Racine, Wis./Case) ranks sixth in NCAA Division III with a qualifying time of 40.93 seconds, only three-tenths off the school record pace.
Two Warhawks will participate in both the pole vault and high jump.
Junior
Zach Jasinski (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton) leads all entries in the pole vault with his personal best and school record mark of 17-02.75 (5.25 meters). He finished as the national runner-up in the event during the indoor season and is a six-time national qualifier in his career. Jasinski will be joined by junior
Adam Schommer (Freedom, Wis./Freedom), who qualified Thursday with his personal record height of 15-10.00 (4.83 meters), good for 17th in the event.
Sophomore
Quinn Halversen (Rockford, Ill./Christian) and senior
Dylan Ferger (Beloit, Wis./Beloit Turner) rank eighth and 11th, respectively, in the high jump. Halversen is a first-time national qualifier with his career-best height of 6-09.50 (2.07 meters), while Ferger will compete in his second straight national meet with his outdoor season-best 6-09.00 (2.06 meters).
Other qualifiers include junior
Landon Zimmerman (New Glarus, Wis./New Glarus) and sophomore
David Fassbender (Slinger, Wis./Slinger). Zimmerman qualified 20th in the shot put with his career-record toss of 52-09.50 (16.09 meters), and Fassbender will race in the 10,000-meter run with his conference championship winning time and personal record of 30:32.40, good for 18th among entries.
