2019 USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Indoor All-Region Teams
Three men and two women from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater track and field programs earned All-Midwest Region honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for their performances during the 2019 indoor season.
Senior
Dylan Ferger (Beloit, Wis./Beloit Turner), juniors
Alex Duff (Oregon, Wis./Oregon) and
Zach Jasinski (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton) represent the Warhawk men, while junior
Abbie Felton (Burlington, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) and sophomore
Shelby Nickels (Manitowoc, Wis./Lincoln) were selected for the women. All five will compete in this weekend's NCAA Indoor Championships in their respective events.
The top five individuals in each event and the top three relay teams from each region garnered All-Region accolades. A total of 1,460 honors were earned, including 740 for women and 720 for men.
Ferger finished second in the region in the high jump with his career-best 6-09.50 (2.07 meters), while Jasinski placed second in the pole vault with a 17-00.75 (5.20 meters), the best height of his career and a school record.
Duff held the region's third-best time in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.16 seconds.
Felton recorded the Midwest's No. 3 time in the 400-meter dash in 56.65 seconds after conversion for track size, and Nickels finished fourth in the region in the long jump with a personal record 18-09.25 (5.72 meters).
