The No. 13 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team won two more matches Saturday on the second day of Nebraska's Big Red Invitational at Victory Lanes in Lincoln, Neb.
The Warhawks are fourth in the tournament standings with 9,059 pins, good for an average of 201.3 per game. The team knocked off top-ranked McKendree and defeated Valparaiso and fell against Drury, No. 16 Maryville and Lincoln Memorial.

Emma Kuhn (Texas City, Texas/Texas City) led UW-Whitewater with a 214.40 average in five traditional games, good for seventh out of 59 bowlers. Sophomore
Mary Conneely (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West) placed ninth overall with a 210.40 average, and senior
Brett Butschke (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) finished 43rd with a 219.67 average in three games, sophomore
Peyton Attig (Oak Lawn, Ill./Harold L. Richards) averaged a 194.67 in three games to finish 46th and freshman
Caitlin Mertins (Racine, Wis./Park) came in 48th with a 180 average in three games.

Kailee Tubbs (Flint, Mich./Davison), senior
Lauren Price (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) and sophomore
Karlee Barton (Joliet, Ill./Joliet West) each competed in two games. Tubbs averaged a 188 in two games to finish 53rd, Price averaged a 184 in two games to finish 54th and Barton averaged a 171 in two games to place 55th.
Competition resumes Sunday with best-of-seven Baker bracket play starting at 8:30 a.m.
