The No. 10 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team placed sixth over the weekend out of 19 teams at the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championships Sectional Qualifier at Stardust Bowl in Addison, Ill.
 
The Warhawks totaled 12,197 pins in 64 Baker games on Saturday and Sunday, including a weekend-best 3,140 pins in the second block (Games 17-32).
 
Junior Rachel Baumann (Marengo, Ill./Marengo) was the team's top finisher in the Intercollegiate Singles Sectional Qualifier, which took place Friday in Addison. She tied for 17th out of more than 230 bowlers with a cumulative total of 1,188 over six games. Senior Emma Kuhn (Texas City, Texas/Texas City) also placed among the top 20, tying for 20th with 1,182 pins.
 
UW-Whitewater closes out the regular season this Friday-Sunday at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tenn.
