The No. 10 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team tallied two more wins Saturday at the SFA Ladyjack Hammer Classic at Sheridan Lanes in Kenosha, Wis.
The Warhawks' total pinfall of 9,862, good for an average of 197.2 per game, ranks eighth in the 15-team field.
UW-Whitewater recorded two victories in its first two matches Saturday, topping No. 22 Adelphi and Upper Iowa before taking close losses against No. 1 Vanderbilt, No. 23 Youngstown State and No. 6 Arkansas State.

Taylor Purgett (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield) led the Warhawks with a pinfall of 1,042 in five matches, good for a 208.4 average and 11th place out of 110 bowlers. Junior
Mary Conneely (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West) closed the day with 983 pins (196.60 average) and placed 31st.
Sophomore
Gaby Silva (Lindenhurst, Ill./Grayslake North) registered 704 pins in four games for a 176 average and 60th place. Sophomore

Peyton Attig (Oak Lawn, Ill./Harold L. Richards) collected games of 227 and 185 for 412 pins (206 average), good for 78th, and sophomore
Sam Knab (Antioch, Ill./Antioch) contributed 355 pins for a 177.50 average and an 82nd-place finish. Senior
Rachel Baumann (Marengo, Ill./Marengo) rolled a 173 in her single game to place 91st.
The Warhawks are the No. 8 seed in Sunday's best-of-five Baker bracket play and will take on seventh-seeded Youngstown State to start the day.
