Day 2 Results
The No. 12 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team won two matches in traditional play Saturday and moved up to 13th after the second day of the three-day Kutztown Invitational at Limerick Bowl in Limerick, Pa.
The Warhawks bested No. 17 Monmouth and No. 18 LIU Brooklyn and suffered losses against No. 8 St. Francis (Pa.), No. 25 Kutztown and Chestnut Hill.
UW-Whitewater is now 5-5 for the weekend and will be seeded 13th in tomorrow's best-of-seven Baker bracket play. The team will have a rematch against St. Francis to start the day.
Junior
Kailee Tubbs (Flint, Mich./Davison) led the Warhawks with a 213 average in five traditional games, including a team-best 265. Her performance was good for ninth place out of 210 bowlers.
Senior
Emma Kuhn (Texas City, Texas/Texas City) also bowled in all five games, averaging a 189, good for 53rd place. Freshman
Jaelynn Hoehnen (Waukesha, Wis./West) participated in four of five games and averaged a 191.50, good for 97th overall.
Senior
Lauren Price (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) averaged a 208 in three games, good for 118th. Senior
Brett Butschke (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) recorded a 182.33 average in three games, good for 130th.
