The No. 19 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team stands 12th out of 32 teams after the second day at Vanderbilt's Columbia 300 Music City Classic at Smyrna Bowling Center in Smyrna, Tenn.
 
The Warhawks collected a pair of wins in traditional games Saturday and hold a cumulative pinfall of 9,362, good for an average of 187.2 per match. The team opened the day with victories over Felician and Howard before falling against No. 7 Delaware State, No. 16 St. Francis (Pa.) and No. 18 North Carolina A&T.
 
Junior Emma Kuhn (Texas City, Texas/Texas City) led UW-Whitewater and finished 17th out of 207 bowlers with a cumulative total of 1,011, good for 202.20 per game. Senior Karissa Gonio (Algonquin, Ill./Dundee-Crown) collected 967 pins for an average of 193.40, good for 41st overall, and freshman Mary Conneely (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West) ranked 51st with 938 pins (187.60 per game).
 
Sophomore Kailee Tubbs (Flint, Mich./Davison) registered 895 pins to average 179 per game and rank 78th overall. Junior Lauren Price (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) rolled a 667 in four games for an average of 166.75, good for 126th.
 
The Warhawks open best-of-seven Baker games in bracket play Sunday against Delaware State at 8:30 a.m.
