The No. 19 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team is ninth out of 32 teams after the first day of Vanderbilt University's Columbia 300 Music City Classic at Smyrna Bowling Center in Smyrna, Tenn.
 
The Warhawks posted a 3-2 record during Baker games on Friday, totaling 4,725 pins for an average of 189.0 per match. The team bested Alabama State, Alabama A&M and No. 8 Maryland Eastern Shore while falling against No. 3 Arkansas State and No. 14 Alabama-Birmingham.
