The University of Wisconsin- Whitewater bowling team finished fifth out of 18 teams at the United States Bowling Congress Sectional Qualifier in Fairview Heights, Ill. Sunday afternoon.

The Warhawks finished with a cumulative total of 12,621 pins out of 64 games during the weekend, collecting a team tournament-best, 3,293 during the fourth 16-game block.  The team averaged a 197.2 per game for the weekend.

UW-Whitewater resumes NCAA play this Friday-Sunday, March 16-18, at Vanderbilt's Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tenn.
