The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's track and field teams combined for eight more All-America honors Saturday on the second and final day of the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships at Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala.
The Warhawk men tied for 16th overall with 13 points, while the women placed in a tie for 56th with two points.
Sophomore Alex Duff garnered All-America accolades in two events. He placed fifth in the heptathlon with a school-record score of 5016. He later competed in the 60-meter hurdles, placing eighth with a time of 8.54 seconds.
Sophomore Christian Jackson joined Duff on the All-America podium with a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 8.18 seconds.
Senior Parker Witt collected the 10th All-America medal of his career after placing sixth in the 60-meter dash in 6.92 seconds, good for his third All-America honor in the 60.
Junior Matt Green rounded out Warhawk men's performers Saturday with a 47-02.50 (14.39 meters) in the triple jump, good for 12th place.
On the women's side, the 4x400-meter relay team of sophomores
Ashley Tijerina (West Chicago, Ill./West Chicago),
Megan Hering (Black Earth, Wis./Wisconsin Heights), senior
Enyo Amet (Racine, Wis./Prairie) and sophomore
Abbie Felton (Burlington, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) combined for an eighth-place finish with a mark of 3:57.05.
Amet tied for 16th in the high jump with a height of 5-03.00 (1.60 meters).
