The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's track and field teams each finished third Saturday at UW-Oshkosh's Titan Challenge.
The Warhawk men, ranked seventh in the nation, totaled 86 points. The women, ranked 22nd in NCAA Division III, collected 123.5 points.
Sophomore
Zach Jasinski (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton) highlighted the day for the men with a record-breaking performance on pole vault. Jasinski broke his own school record in the event with a career-best 16-09.50 (5.12 meters), good for a tie for the nation's No. 3 mark, and finished first out of 14 competitors. Sophomore
Adam Schommer (Freedom, Wis./Freedom) improved his season best result to 15-05.75 (4.72 meters), the No. 24 mark in the nation.
Sophomore
Christian Jackson (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) won the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.27 seconds, only five-hundredths of a second off his season best performance. He ranks 12th in the nation in the event.

Kiley Lofy (Lake Geneva, Wis./Badger) and senior
Logan Zeien (Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere) placed third in the race with a 3:21.68, good for 16th in the country after conversion for track size.
Sophomore
Julio Perez (Watertown, Wis./Kettle Moraine) and freshman
Landon Zimmerman (New Glarus, Wis./New Glarus) moved up the NCAA Division III performance list in the shot put. Perez placed second with a season-best 52-07.50 (16.04 meters) to move up to 15th, and Zimmerman finished third with a personal record 51-07.00 (15.72 meters) to move to 23rd.
On Friday, the Warhawks' distance medley relay team of Zeien, senior
Alec Meixelsperger (Middleton, Wis./Middleton), freshman
Brian Kuehl (Geneva, Ill./Geneva) and senior
Jonah Nelson (Dodgeville, Wis./Dodgeville/Mineral Point) tallied a 10:25.79 at North Central. The foursome ranks 25th in NCAA Division III after conversion for track size.
On the women's side, senior
Lindsay Chase (Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater) won the weight throw with a toss of 53-01.00 (16.18 meters). She is currently No. 9 in the nation in the event.
Sophomore
Abbie Felton (Burlington, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) registered her personal record in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line first in 25.46 seconds, good for fourth in the country after conversion for track size.
Senior
Enyo Amet (Racine, Wis./Prairie) and sophomore
Ashley Tijerina (West Chicago, Ill./West Chicago) each moved into the top six in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in the 400-meter dash. Amet placed third with a season-best 58.87, and Tijerina finished fourth with a 59.30.
Both Warhawk teams return to action at the WIAC Championships next Friday and Saturday, Feb. 23-24, at UW-Stevens Point.
