The No. 20 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team stands eighth after the second day at the Stephen F. Austin Stormin' Ladyjack Classic at Copperfield Bowl in Houston, Texas.
 
The Warhawks enter Sunday's bracket portion with 9,494 total pins, good for an average of 189.9 per game.
 
Sophomore Kailee Tubbs (Flint, Mich./Davison) and junior Emma Kuhn (Texas City, Texas/Texas City) led UW-Whitewater in the team's five traditional games Saturday. Tubbs averaged a 190.80 per game, good for 39th place out of 110 bowlers, and Kuhn averaged a 190.20, good for 40th.
 
Junior Lauren Price (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) was close by with a 187.40 average, good for 45th place. Freshman Mary Conneely (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West) tallied an average of 188.50 in four games and ranks 70th overall. Sophomore Rachel Baumann (Marengo, Ill./Marengo) rolled three games and finished the day with a 171.67 average, good for 90th.
 
The Warhawks are scheduled to face No. 8 Maryland Eastern Shore to begin best-of-seven Baker matches Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
