The No. 18 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team stands 20th after the first day of the Kutztown Invitational at Heister Lanes in Reading, Pa.
 
The Warhawks totaled 4,639 pins in five Baker games, good for a 185.6 average. The team downed Duquesne 940-896 to close the day after taking losses against Franklin Pierce, No. 6 Delaware State, No. 12 Sacred Heart and Kutztown. UW-Whitewater scored more than 925 pins in each game for the day.
 
The Warhawks continue action in Pennsylvania Saturday starting at 8:25 a.m. Central Time. The team will take on St. Francis Brooklyn, No. 8 Maryland Eastern Shore, Chestnut Hill, Morgan State and No. 16 St. Francis (Pa.) in traditional games.
