The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team wrapped up play with several impressive results Saturday at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Midwest Regional Championships at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.
 
Senior Zane Navratil (Racine, Wis./The Prairie School) led the Warhawks in singles play by advancing to the Round of 16, where he was outlasted in three sets by ninth-seeded Serhii Tykonenko of St. Scholastica (Minn.).
 
Senior Matt Zurowski (West Bend, Wis./East) and junior Brandon Dechter (Mundelein, Ill./Carmel Catholic) led the team's doubles contingent by finishing among the top 16, falling against the draw's top-ranked pair of Mohanad Alhouni and Patrick Whaling of Gustavus Adolphus.
 
Sophomore Zach Wood (Downers Grove, Ill./South) grinded his way through the consolation singles bracket, reaching the semifinals of the draw to finish the weekend with a 5-2 record.
 
Sophomore Matthew Primozic (Elkhart Lake, Wis./Plymouth) and freshman Robert Rider (Annapolis, Md./South River) teamed up in consolation doubles and won two matches en route to the quarterfinals, where they were downed by eventual consolation champion UW-La Crosse.
