The Men's cross country team opened their 2017 season at home hosting the Tom Hoffman Invitational. They finished first out of 13 teams
Senior
Brett Harms (Whitewater/Whitewater, Wis.) headed the Warhawks and the field with a time of 26:59.1, good for an impressive first place finish. Freshman teammate
David Fassbender (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) finished in second at 27:19.5, while another freshman
Connor Hackett (Darlington, Wis./Darlington) ran a time of 28:24.3, good for ninth. Freshman
Kyle Neuroth (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) and senior
Alec Meixelsperger (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) finished within four seconds of each other. Neuroth posted a time of 28:40.6 for 14th while Meixelsperger ran a 28:44.7 for 16th.
Junior
Jeremy Mogan (Tinley Park, Ill./Tinley Park) contributed a time of 28:52.8, good for 19th place.
Clinten Woerishofer (Appleton, Wis./North) rounded out the scoring for the Warhawks, finishing 23rd with a time of 28:58.6.
The Warhawks will be back in action on September 22nd at the Brissman-Lundeen Invite hosted by Augustana College (Ill.).
