Bowling Fourth After Second Day in Nebraska

The No. 13 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team stands in fourth place out of 10 teams following Friday's competition at the University of Nebraska's Big Red Invitational at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln, Neb.
 
The Warhawks own a total pin fall of 9,057 (201.27 per game) and a 6-2 record in Baker and traditional games.
 
After finishing with a 4-0 mark in Baker games on Thursday, UW-Whitewater posted a 2-2 mark on Friday in traditional games, downing Lincoln Memorial and top-ranked McKendree before falling against No. 3 Arkansas State and No. 2 Nebraska.
 
Senior Taylor Hoppe (Rockford, Ill./Thomas Jefferson) currently ranks third out of 52 bowlers with a traditional game average of 236.2, including a team-best 279. Senior Amanda Van Duyn (Kenosha, Wis./Kenosha Bradford) is 11th with a 210, and sophomore Lauren Price (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) is 14th with a 202. Senior Ashleigh Miller (Zion, Ill./Zion-Benton Township) averaged a 178 in five games to rank 30th.
