The No. 13 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team posted a 3-2 record Saturday and stands in eighth place out of 35 teams at the Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tenn.
The Warhawks were downed by No. 11 Sacred Heart and No. 10 Central Missouri to start the day before concluding the day with victories over Jackson State, fourth-ranked Sam Houston State and Texas Southern.
UW-Whitewater, which is now 5-4 in Baker and traditional matches in the tournament, will face No. 9 Delaware State Sunday in the first round of bracket play.
