The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's swimming and diving teams each posted victories in the program's final regular season meet Saturday against UW-La Crosse in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference dual at the Williams Center.
The Warhawk women edged the Eagle women 151-149 to improve to 6-1 in dual meets, including 3-1 against WIAC competition.
The Warhawk men moved to 5-2 on the year (2-2 WIAC) with a 190-109 triumph.

Margaret Lotzer (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove) and
Gabby Swider (Milwaukee/St. Thomas More), were recognized for their career accomplishments prior to the start of their final home meet.
Bielski, sophomores
Patrick Abrahams (Highland Park, Ill./Deerfield) and
Sam Amundson (Janesville, Wis./Janesville Parker) each won two events to lead the men. Bielski swept the backstroke events with a 52.94 in the 100 and a 1:56.26 in the 200. He was also part of the team's winning 200-yard medley relay with Hill, sophomores
Jonathan Jaworski (Waukesha, Wis./South) and
Peter Loftus (Janesville, Wis./Craig). The group combined for a time of 1:37.22.
Abrahams swept the butterfly events with marks of 52.37 and 1:56.84 in the 100 and 200, respectively. Amundson took the 200-yard freestyle in 1:45.05 and the 500-yard freestyle in 4:53.95.
Carroll won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:12.98, and sophomore
Thomas Stigler (Milwaukee, Wis./Muskego) recorded a 1:00.21 in the 100-yard breaststroke to win the event. Staszak touched the wall first in the 1000-yard freestyle with a 10:20.04.
Lotzer, sophomore
Erin Hawker (Chanhassen, Minn./Hutchinson) and freshman
Meredith Gustafson (Brookfield, Wis./East) each claimed two events to lead the women. Lotzer won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:58.77 and the 500-yard freestyle with a 5:22.23. Hawker swept the breaststroke events, tallying results of 1:08.41 in the 100 and 2:29.27 in the 200. Gustafson won the 200-yard butterfly in 2:15.98 and the 1000-yard freestyle in 11:20.89.
Arteaga won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:13.23, and junior
Michaela Matthys (Crystal Lake, Ill./McHenry West) placed first in the 100-yard butterfly with a 57.84.
Arteaga, Hawker, Matthys and sophomore
Vada Williams (La Crescent, Minn./Holmen-Aquinas-Onalaska (Wis.)) teamed up to win the 200-yard medley relay with a mark of 1:51.02.
The WIAC Championships are scheduled for Feb. 16-18 at Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer, Wis. Competition begins Thursday, Feb. 16, with preliminaries at 10 a.m.
