The No. 14 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team remained in third out of 11 teams following the second day of Valparaiso's Crusader Classic at Lakewood Bowl in Richton Park, Ill.
 
The Warhawks posted a 3-2 record in traditional games Saturday to run their tournament total to 6-3 and enter Sunday's final day with 9,959 total pins, good for an average of 199.2 per game.
 
UW-Whitewater bested No. 23 Valparaiso, Aurora and No. 13 Tulane and was edged by five pins against top-ranked Nebraska and defeated by No. 11 Central Missouri.
 
The Warhawks resume action with best-of-seven Baker games Sunday morning.
