The No. 14 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team tallied an 8-4 record for the weekend to finish sixth at the 23-team Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack Invitational in Houston, Texas.
 
The Warhawks entered best-of-seven Baker bracket play Sunday as the No. 3 seed and were downed by No. 7 Stephen F. Austin and No. 4 Sam Houston State before taking No. 2 Arkansas State to seven games in the fifth-place match.
 
Senior Amanda Van Duyn (Kenosha, Wis./Kenosha Bradford) earned tournament Most Valuable Player honors after averaging a field-leading 230.2 pins per game in five traditional games on Saturday.
