The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's swimming and diving teams each competed in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference dual meets at UW-Stevens Point on Saturday.
 
The Warhawk women posted a 203-95 victory to improve to 3-0 on the year, including a 2-0 mark in conference meets.
 
The men were defeated 203-94 by the 29th-ranked Pointers.
 
The women won 14 events, including both relays. Senior Michaela Matthys (Crystal Lake, Ill./McHenry West), junior Erin Hawker (Chanhassen, Minn./Hutchinson), sophomore Bailey Weston (Fort Atkinson, Wis./Fort Atkinson) and freshman Olivia Theobald (Peoria, Ill./Dunlap) claimed two individual events apiece to lead the team.
 
On the men's side, junior Chandler Lewis (Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg) won the 200-yard backstroke, freshman Tyler Chatterton (Kenosha, Wis./Tremper) placed first in the 200-yard breaststroke and freshman Zach Noll (Peoria, Ill./Dunlap) touched the wall first in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
 
Both teams resume action Nov. 30-Dec. 2 at the A3 Carthage Classic in Kenosha, Wis.
