The Men's cross country team ran Saturday morning at the Cowbell Classic, finishing 24th out of 38 teams. 

Senior Brett Harms (Whitewater/Whitewater, Wis.) led the Warhawks with a 12th place finish and a time of 25:25.13.  Freshman teammate Mitchell Georgi (Sun Prairie, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) continued the scoring with a 155th place finish and a 27:36.65 time.  Freshman Kyle Neuroth (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) ran the course with a 27:38.76, good for 159nd place. Senior Alec Meixelsperger (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) and sophomore Clinten Woerishofer (Appleton, Wis./North)  placed 162nd and 164th respectively, finishing the race within a second of each other.  Meixelsperger finished the course in 27:41.12, while Woerishofer ran a 27:41.80.

Freshman David Fassbender (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) placed 167th with a time of 27:45.68.  Jeremy Morgan (Tinley Park, Ill./Tinley Park) rounded out the scoring Warhawks with a 169th place finish and a time of 27:50.01.

The Warhawks will be back in action next Friday, October 20th, at the Oshkosh Open hosted by UW-Oshkosh.
