The No. 14 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team finished with a 3-3 record Saturday and remained in eighth place overall out of 26 teams at the Kutztown Invitational at Hiester Lanes in Reading, Pa.
The Warhawks own a total pinfall of 11,407 pins, good for an average of 190.1 per game.
UW-Whitewater alternated wins and losses during the day in six traditional games, defeating Howard, No. 12 Delaware State and Kutztown while falling against No. 7 Fairleigh Dickinson, 10th-ranked Maryland Eastern Shore and No. 11 Sacred Heart.

Taylor Hoppe (Rockford, Ill./Thomas Jefferson) and sophomore
Emma Kuhn (Texas City, Texas/Texas City) each recorded three 200-plus games on the day. Kuhn posted a team-best 245 against Delaware State, while Hoppe finished with her top score of 226 to close the day against Sacred Heart.
The Warhawks will be the No. 8 seed in Sunday's Championship Bracket and face the ninth seed, No. 16 Tulane, to open the day. Competition begins at 7:25 a.m. Central Time.
