Bowling Moves up to Sixth Place at the FDU Jamboree

The No. 9 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's bowling team moved up to sixth place after the second day of competition at the Fairleigh Dickenson University Jamboree in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
 
The Warhawks finished the second day of competition with a 4-1 record competing in five traditional matches. UW-Whitewater finished with a cumulative score of 9,130 and was eight points shy of Monmouth University for fifth place overall.
 
No. 10 Fairleigh Dickenson University leads the tournament with a team score of 9,733.
 
UW-Whitewater opened the day with a victory over Bethune-Cookman University by a final score of 937-841. The Warhawks then defeated Jackson State University in a very close match by a score of 908-903.
 
In their third match of the day UW-Whitewater defeated St. Peter's College by a final score of 952-775. The Warhawks then defeated Duquesne University by a score of 961-817. UW-Whitewater dropped their final match of the day against North Carolina A&T State University by a score of 812-972.
 
The Warhawks will be back in competition tomorrow morning as they compete in match-play. Check back tomorrow afternoon to see how UW-Whitewater finished up at the FDU Jamboree.
