The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed against NCAA Division I and III teams from around the state Saturday at the All-Wisconsin Invitational at Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer, Wis.
 
Senior Dan Bielski (Chanhassen, Minn./Minnetonka) led the Warhawk men in three events, including top-three finishes in the backstroke events. He placed third in the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 53.53 and won the 200-yard backstroke with a mark of 1:56.75.
 
Sophomore Peter Loftus (Janesville, Wis./Craig) led UW-Whitewater in two events, including the 50-yard freestyle, where he finished fifth with a result of 22.18.
 
Sophomore Erin Hawker (Chanhassen, Minn./Hutchinson) paced the Warhawk women in three separate events, finishing sixth in both the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.36) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:15.79). She was also seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:33.28.
 
Senior Margaret Lotzer (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove) and sophomore Melanie Carlson (Waukesha, Wis./West) led UW-Whitewater in two events apiece. Lotzer was fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:21.90) and eighth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.55), and Carlson was 15th in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.94) and ninth in the 200-yard butterfly (2:19.63).
 
The two teams host Carroll on Nov. 4 in a dual meet starting at 6 p.m. at the Williams Center.
