The Warhawks (24-5 overall), who defeated 26th-ranked Hope (Mich.) 5-3 yesterday in thrilling fashion, were making the program's fourth-ever appearance in the Round of 16.
The Tigers (16-8) won all three doubles matches and claimed the Nos. 1 and 4 singles slots to reach decision.

Alicia Beck (Bismarck, ND/St. Mary's Central) was up a set at the fifth singles position before play was halted.
Sophomore
Megan Humphreys (Kenosha/Tremper) will compete in the NCAA Individual Tournament May 21-23 at Lindner Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio. She was one of 32 selections made by the NCAA last week.
In 2014-15, UW-Whitewater totaled a school-record 24 dual match victories and won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship for the eighth consecutive season. Beck, freshmen

Humphreys, Beck and freshmen
Bridgid McGuire (Slinger/Slinger) each earned All-All-America accolades in the fall. Humphreys picked up the honor by winning the USTA/ITA Midwest Regional singles title and placing second in the National Small College Championships Division III singles draw. Beck and McGuire won the Midwest Regional doubles title and place eighth at the National Small College Championships.
The Warhawks were making their eighth straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament, including their sixth consecutive trip past the first round.
