The No. 27 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team remained undefeated for the 2014-15 season Saturday with a 9-0 victory over Augustana (Ill.) in a non-conference affair at Wangerin Courts.

The Warhawks (12-0) dropped one set but didn't lose a point in posting their second straight dual match sweep and fourth in their last five contests.

The Vikings (15-4) are ranked 16th in the Central Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, while UW-Whitewater is slotted sixth in the region by the ITA.

The Warhawks claimed all three doubles spots to take a 3-0 advantage. Senior
Amanda Dick (Kenosha/St. Joseph Catholic Academy) and sophomore
Rachel Siemon (Crystal Lake, IL/South) combined for an 8-1 victory at No. 3, while freshmen
Bridgid McGuire (Slinger/Slinger) and
Alexandra Talyansky (Mequon/Homestead) paired at the second position for an 8-2 triumph.

Megan Humphreys (Kenosha/Tremper) and freshman
Jillian Wallace (Crystal Lake, IL/Central) completed the team's doubles sweep at No. 1, registering an 8-4 win.

Wallace made it 4-0 with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 3 singles, and Dick clinched the match for UW-Whitewater with a 6-1, 6-4 triumph at the fourth slot.

Siemon and Humphreys increased the advantage to 7-0 with wins at No. 5 and No. 1, respectively. Both tallied 7-5, 6-3 results. Humphreys, ranked No. 1 in the Central Region, downed Augustana's Lauren Goggin, who is ranked 25th.

Emily Sodemann (Janesville/Parker) earned a 7-5, 7-5 victory at No. 6 singles, and Talyansky completed the shutout with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 triumph at the second position.

The Warhawks resume play next Saturday to start their five-match spring break trip in Orlando, Fla. UW-Whitewater will take on Stevens Institute of Technology at 11 a.m.
