The Warhawks rank ninth out of 26 in the team standings entering Sunday's Baker matches. UW-Whitewater will compete in a consolation bracket Sunday as the No. 9 seed.
After consecutive setbacks against No. 2 Arkansas State and fourth-ranked Fairleigh Dickinson, the Warhawks closed the day with three straight victories, defeating No. 15 Valparaiso, No. 11 Maryland Eastern Shore and No. 3 Stephen F. Austin State.
Sophomore
Sarah Paasch (Sheboygan, Wis./Sheboygan) was UW-Whitewater's top performer in each of the first two matches with scores of 214 and 193, respectively.
Junior
Amanda Van Duyn (Kenosha/Kenosha Bradford) was the leading scorer in the next two matches, posting two of the three highest scores of the day with a 226 and a 224.
Senior
Lindsay Rusch (Appleton, Wis./Kimberly) recorded the best score of the day in the team's finale with a 269. She ranks 24th in the individual standings with an average of 201.2 for the weekend.
Van Duyn is 25th with a 200.6, and junior
Taylor Hoppe (Rockford, Ill./Thomas Jefferson) is 32nd with an average of 196.7.
