GAMBIER, Ohio – The UW-Whitewater men's tennis team split a double-header played at Kenyon College Saturday. Whitewater opened the day with a 7-2 loss to host school Kenyon but rebounded with a 7-2 victory over Earlham College.

The Warhawks dropped their first match of the day to host school Kenyon, 7-2.
Scott Butler (Eagan, MN/Eagan) and
Jake Humphreys (Kenosha/Tremper) won a hard fought match at second doubles by a score of 9-7.
Humphreys was the lone singles victor for UW-W, taking second singles, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.

Results
UW-W swept the doubles competition, with the pair of
Ben Shklyar (Deerfield, IL/Deerfield) and
Byron Balkin (Madison/Memorial) taking first double in a tie-break, 9-8 (7-3). Humphreys and Butler took second doubles, 8-4, and
Cam Laktash (Crystal Lake, IL/South) and
Martin Beck (Minneapolis/South) won third, 8-4.
Humphreys remained perfect on the day as he took first singles in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, and Shklyar took second singles, 7-6 (7-3), 6-1.
Rithwik Rajshekhar Raman (Chennai, Tamil Nadu-India/SAIDS British Education) easily won at fifth singles, 6-1, 6-2, and
Matt Bisbee (Chicago, IL/Marist) earned a win at sixth singles, 6-1, 6-3.
UW-Whitewater is 2-4 on the year and will play Kalamazoo College Sunday.
