Lexie Sondgeroth (Rochelle, IL/Township) led the Warhawk women's track and field team at the Foster Open, held in Whitewater Friday, April 7.  Sondgeroth won the 100 meters, and placed second in the long jump and in the triple jump.  She was also a member of UW-W's winning 4x100 relay team.  There were no team scores in the Foster Open.

Beth Dreikosen (Sheboygan/North) earned first place in the 200 and third in the 400, and she joined Sondgeroth on the winning relay.  Janna Wise (Verona/Verona) placed third in the 1500 and fifth in the 800; and Shelby Mahr (Boyd/Stanley-Boyd) placed second in all three throws, shot put, discus and hammer.

The Warhawk women will compete in the Platteville Invitational hosted by UW-Platteville Saturday, April 14.  The Warhawks' next home meet, the Drake Alternative, will be Saturday, April 28.  UW-W will host the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference outdoor championship May 4-5 at Foster Track.
