Bill Stenavich (Brookfield/Central) and
Marcus Genrich (Janesville/Parker) won two events each to lead the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Saturday in Mitchell Hall in La Crosse, where UW-La Crosse won the meet 130-113.

Stenavich won the 100 freestyle in 48.63 and the 200 freestyle in 1:46.63. Genrich touched first in the 200 individual medley in 2:00.56 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.43.
John Devroy (Kenosha/Bradford) earned second place points in two events for UW-W, the runnerup in the 200 IM to Genrich in 2:01.88, and in the 500 freestyle in 4:53.88.
Ryan Stuart (Frankfort, IL/Lincolnway East) finished second in the 1000 freestyle in 10:10.09; Benjamin Wynn earned second in the 100 butterfly in 53.74; and
Landon Joiner (Hinsdale, IL /South) took second in 50 freestyle with a time of 53.74.
Jared Gruenwald (Milwaukee/Riverside) teamed up with Joiner, Wynn and Stenavich for second place in the 400 freestyle relay (3:15.27); and the 400 medley relay group of
Joe Devroy (Kenosha/Bradford), Genrich, Wynn and Joiner also took second (3:55.00).
The next time UW-W will be in competition will be at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship, March 16-18 at the Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer, Wisconsin.
