Box Score UW-Whitewater defeated UW-Superior 5-1 in Duluth, Minnesota Saturday, the most goals UW-W has scored since a win by the identical score over the Yellowjackets October 16 in Whitewater last season. The Warhawks won their third straight game, and eighth i the last nine outings.

Emily Stocks (McFarland/McFarland) kicked her first goal of the season, the game winner, assisted by
Samantha Hoerchner (Germantown/Kettle Moraine Lutheran), and that is the way the half closed out.
Jenna Woodson (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls)'s fifth goal of the season, assisted by
Kelsey Finn (Glendale/Nicolet) at 57:29, put the Warhawks up 3-0. Superior's Katelyn Adams briefly closed the gap to 3-1 at 72:34, but less than two minutes later
Victoria Musial (Norwood, NJ/Nothern Valley Regional)'s first tally of the season, assisted by
Riley Kirchoff (Pewaukee/Pewaukee), boosted Whitewater's lead back to 4-1.
Erin Mrazek (Lombard, IL/Glenbard East) took an assist from

UW-W out-shot Superior 30-5, including a 13-0 margin in the first half. UW-W also led in corner kicks, 14-2, and Warhawk goalie
Jordan Myers (Aurora, IL/Waubonsie Valley) was tested by just two shots on goal.
UW-W is 9-4 overall and leads the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a 5-0 mark. UW-S is 3-9 overall and 0-6 in league play.
Whitewater will host Illinois Wesleyan University Wednesday at 5:00 at Fiskum Field, the first half of a doubleheader with the Warhawk men. Home games are played at Fiskum Field, west of Perkins Stadium and northwest of Williams Center/Kachel Fieldhouse on the north end of campus. Free parking is adjacent to the field.
