Jessa Luebke (Tomah/Tomah) threw the shot put 39-7.75, the best performance for UW-Whitewater this season, in the Point Last Chance Meet in Stevens Point, Wisconsin Saturday.

UW-W, and other schools, had limited participation and there were no team scores kept.  The meet was an opportunity for athletes to get one more shot at meeting NCAA III qualifying standards. 

Warhawk Shelby Demos (Janesville/Parker) has met the automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA III Indoor Track and Field Championship Friday-Saturday, March 11-12 at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.  UW-W has three other provisional qualifiers that will find out Monday if they are in the field for the national meet.
