Dayna Mackie (Glendale Heights, IL/Glendale Heights) averaged a 216 and
Tracy Fakes (Columbus/Columbus ) a 212 to lead UW-Whitewater to a 6-0 record Saturday at the Wisconsin Collegiate Bowling Conference tournament in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The Warhawks defeated UW-Stout 1057-648, UW-W junior varsity 923-889, UW-Oshkosh 981-873, UW-Green Bay 906-794, Winona State 1002-819, and UW-Milwaukee 996-782.
Mackie rolled four games above 200 including the highest score of the day by a UW-W bowler, a 268 in the match against UW-Oshkosh. Fakes rolled five games above 200 including a 241 in the match against the UW-Whitewater junior varsity. Mackie's 268 ties for eighth place in the Warhawk record book.
Katie Zwiefelhofer (Racine/Washington Park) turned in a 243 against UW-Stout while
Jessica Walter (Columbus/Columbus) recorded a 202 against UW-O.
Melissa Molbeck (Germantown/Germantown) rolled three games over 200, a 213, 212 and 208, against UW-Stout, Winona State, and UW-Milwaukee respectively.
Katie Kleinmaier (Dixon, IL/Dixon)'s high game of the day was a 204 against UW-Green Bay, and
Michelle Wallenberg (Machesney Park, IL/Harlem) turned in her highest score with a 185 against the UW-Whitewater junior varsity.
The 268 by Mackie, the 243 by Zwiefelhofer and the 241 by Fakes are the three highest scores for the Warhawks this season. Mackie's 268 ties her for the eighth best score in school history.
The team scores of 1057 and 1002 are also the highest scores by UW-W this season. The 1057 is the seventh best team score in school history.
UW-W will continue competition on Sunday in Kenosha.
