Whitewater bowlers Ashley Keclik (Hoffman Estates, IL/Fremd), Whitney Kueltzo (Homer Glen, IL/Lockport Township), Katelyn Miles (Rockford, IL/Jefferson), Jaclyn Sailer, Kayci Sommer (Waukesha/Waukesha West), and Sarah Stettner (Kenosha/Tremper) were named to the 2009-2010 NTCA all-academic team. All of these women met the requirement of a 3.4 GPA for the 2009-2010 school year. This award is not based on cumulative GPA.
Ashley Keclik (Hoffman Estates, IL/Fremd), a junior from Hoffman Estates, Illinois is majoring in early childhood education with a minor in coaching. She led the 2009-10 team in several categories including highest series, 670, highest individual game, 245, and highest average of 182.8. Keclik teamed up with Miles, Molbeck, Schmidt, and Stettner, to claim the Whitewater's best team game score of 977. Keclick is first in school history with the highest individual series of 762.
Whitney Kueltzo (Homer Glen, IL/Lockport Township), a senior from Homer Glenn, Illinois is majoring in special education. Kueltzo has a 177.7 average and recorded a 599 series this season. She finished 15th at sectionals and 56 out of 368 bowlers at the Blue and Gold Classic.
Katelyn Miles (Rockford, IL/Jefferson), a freshman from Rockford, Illinois is majoring in sociology and criminal justice with a minor in forensic science. She has an average of 181.2. She ranks third on the team with a 240 individual game score and adds a 610 series to her accomplishments this season.
Jackie Sailer (Redgranite, WI/Wautoma High), a junior from Redgranite is majoring in elementary education/special education with a minor in coaching. Sailer's highest individual game is 204 and her average is 160.3.
Kayci Sommer (Waukesha/Waukesha West), a junior from Waukesha is majoring in math education with a minor in coaching. Sommer has a 153.2 average.
Sarah Stettner (Kenosha/Tremper), a sophomore from Kenosha, is majoring in communicative disorders. Stettner has a 179.8 average, and her 655 series is good for third highest on the team. Her highest individual game is 236 and she is a member of the team's best game score of 977. Stettner took top honors at the Valparaiso Crusader Classic.
