Freshman catcher, Emily Epifanio (Park Ridge, IL/Maine South), and senior pitcher, Stacy Bahr (Racine/Park), have been named this week's UW-Whitewater softball players of the week.

In eight games, Epifanio went 11 for 28 for a .393 batting average. Of her 11 hits, three of them were homeruns, giving her a .714 slugging percentage. She scored five runs and knocked in nine RBI's. She safely hit in seven of the eight games. Defensively she contributed her efforts to the team with 38 putouts and seven assists, including throwing three runners out that were attempting to steal.

Bahr went 2-0 this week collecting wins against UW-Oshkosh and UW-Stevens Point. Bahr only allowed one hit against Oshkosh and two runs against Stevens Point.
