Bella Eggert (Carol Stream, Ill./Glenbard North) have been selected to the All-Region VIII teams by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Hammen is a First Team pick for her performance in the circle this season. The righty led the league in complete games with 10 adding three saves. Hammen tallied 101 strikeouts in 113.0 innings of work while holding opposing offenses to a batting average of .234.
Eggert was tabbed for Third Team honors for the second straight season. The senior centerfielder started all 40 games for UWW this season. The duo will move forward into consideration for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads that are set to be announced May 27.
