Bill Stenavich (Brookfield/Central) and
Andy Hanney (Grafton/Grafton) won two events apiece, and UW-Whitewater swept four events in a 142-73 win over Luther College in Decorah, Iowa Friday afternoon.

Stenavich won the 100 (49.28) and 200 (1:48.11) freestyles for UW-W. Hanney touched first in the 100 backstroke (54.66) and 200 individual medley (2:04.09).
Other Warhawks winning their events included
Colton Gilmore (Brookfield/Central) in the 1000 freestyle (10:21.54),
Landon Joiner (Hinsdale, IL /South) at the other end of the spectrum in the 50 freestyle (22:35), and
John Devroy (Kenosha/Bradford) making it a sweep of the freestyle events with a win in the 500 (4:56.94).
The 200 medley relay team of
Jake Christensen (Brown Deer/Brown Deer),
Marcus Genrich (Janesville/Parker),
Nate Glover (Milton/Milton), and Joiner was also a winner (1:40.01). UW-W also placed first in the 200 freestyle relay, combining
Derek Uselman (Middleton/Middleton),
Adam Altenburg (Watertown/Watertown), Joiner and Stenavich (1:29.10).
UW-W is 3-0 in dual meets this season, with wins over Carroll University, UW-Oshkosh, and Luther.
The swimmers will endure a long bus ride from Decorah to Appleton, Wisconsin to face Lawrence University Saturday. UW-W does not have another home meet until January 29.
