The Warhawks took two of the three doubles matches as well as the top three singles matches, without losing a set from those wins. The win today over Wheaton, the team who beat the Warhawks last year to end their season in the second round of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III tournament, puts the Warhawks at 3-0 this season.
Wheaton was ranked one place higher (18) than Whitewater (19) to end the 2009 spring season in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Women's National Rankings.
