UW-Whitewater won their second match at the UW-Stevens Point Triangular on Tuesday defeating the hosting Pointers 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-23). The Warhawks bounced back from a loss to UW-Eau Claire earlier in the day to even their overall record to 1-1, the Pointers fall to 0-2.

The Warhawks offense produced 38 kills to UW-SP's 24. Whitewater recorded an attack percentage of .325 for the match, over 200 points higher than their opponent. The 'Hawks

Alyse Karls (Dane/Lodi) chipped in 12 assists.
Caitlin Hogan (New London/New London) led the way with nine kills while
Melissa Zuleger (Little Chute/Little Chute) tallied seven.
The Warhawks are off until Friday when they host the first of four UW-Whitewater Invitationals. Visiting Whitewater for the upcoming tournament will be: Marian University, Bethel University, and Wheaton College. The Friday night match against Bethel at 7:00 pm will celebrate "New Student Night". All UW-Whitewater students are admitted free to all home games with a valid UW-Whitewater ID.
