UW-W continued the home tournament hosting four Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schools on Saturday, April 11.  The regionally ranked Warhawks claimed two wins, the first over UW-La Crosse 8-1, and the second over UW-Eau Claire 5-4.  The Warhawks had a perfect record in the home tournament, going 3-0 on the Wangerin courts of the UW-W campus, with a third win coming from a 6-3 win over UW-Oshkosh April 10.

The Warhawks are now 17-8 on the season, while 13-5 against Division III schools.  UW-La Crosse falls to 8-11 on the season.  Alex Lowe (Oswego, IL/Oswego) recorded three wins in the matches today, two while at singles, and one against UW-La Crosse while being paired with Kelvin Caiati (Greendale/Greendale).  Lowe took the #1 singles match win against Eau Claire's Steve Lantz in three sets , after losing the first 0-6; a key match in a 5-4 Warhawk team victory.

The next event for the Warhawks will be at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI.  Matches against Lawrence are scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. on April 18.  There are not any home matches scheduled for the remainder of the season.
