The UW-Whitewater women's tennis team defeated Luther College 5-4 on Monday in Orlando, Florida. UW-Whitewater improves to 16-1 in dual meets this season and 14-0 against Division III opponents. The Warhawks have won thirteen consecutive dual matches after their only loss of the season came back on September 11, 2008 to Division I University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Luther falls to 18-6 after the loss.
With the Warhawks down 3-0 after being swept in all three doubles flights, they went on to win five of the six matches on the singles side. The only loss came at the number three singles position in a match that went three sets. Complete match results are below.

Schaefer improves her season record at number one singles to 26-3 overall. Stensvaag has also eclipsed the twenty win mark upping her record to 21-3. Rounding out the twenty match winners for the Warhawks is Smith who has a record of 23-3.
The Warhawks will compete against Calvin College on Tuesday in Orlando, Florida.
