#24 UW-Whitewater Top #18 Gustavus Adolphus

In a great matchup of nationally ranked teams, the #24 Warhawks showed their strength with a win over #18 Gustavus Adolphus.  Wrapping up four out of six singles matches, and one doubles match the Warhawks were victorious with a score of 5-4, improving their season dual record a very impressive 14-1 and 12-0 against DIII opponents.

Ingrid Stensvaag (Palatine, IL/Palatine) showed her skills on the court pulling off two wins, one at #2 singles and another at #2 doubles while paired with Daciolas.  Stensvaag is 19-3 on the season in singles, and 16-4 while paired with Daciolas in doubles.  Schaefer adds to her impressive singles record at #1, now 24-3, while Siemon is now 16-2, Smith at 22-2, Daciolas at 14-4, and Woyahn at 13-4.

The team boasts an eleven match win streak as they head into their spring break matches.  The team is traveling to Orlando, FL for a string of matches, with the first on March 21 against Kalamazoo.  The Warhawks will return home to host the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships scheduled for May 2.
