The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team, ranked twenty-fourth according to the latest International Tennis Association poll, defeated the University of Sioux Falls 9-0 in St. Peter, Minnesota.

The win in number one singles brings Schaefer's record to 11-1 and 23-3 overall. In doubles, Schaefer and Siemon move to 10-2 in number one doubles and 16-3 overall. Stensvaag ups her mark to 18-3 overall and when paired with Daciolas, their number two doubles record moves to 10-1 and 16-2 overall. Smith's win in number three singles increases her win mark to four with an overall record of 21-2. The team of Gering and Amundson also proved to be stellar increasing their number three doubles mark to 7-1 and 16-2 overall.
The win increases the Warhawk's dual meet record to 13-1 as well as giving UW-W their tenth shutout of the season. The win also keeps a ten meet win streak alive.
UW-W will be in action again in St. Peter, Minnesota, Saturday, March 14 against Gustavus Adolphus beginning at 9:00. The Warhawks will return home to host the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships scheduled for May 2.
