Warhawks remain undefeated in the WIAC

Fifth ranked UW-Whitewater remains undefeated against Division III opponents and in WIAC play.

Austin Bautista (Des Plaines, IL/Maine East) improves his record to 32-1 on the season after defeating Andy Casper of UW-Platteville.  Sean Evans (Richmond, IL/Richmond Burton) is now 24-5 on the year after his win tonight against UW-Platteville.

Three of Whitewater's nationally ranked wrestlers; Pat Nagel (Carpentersville, IL/Dundee-Crown) 165, Karl Voeck (Madison/Memorial) 197, and Jon Schmidt (Menomonee Falls/Hartford) 285 did not wrestle in the meet.

The Warhawks are now 16-3-1 overall, 12-0-1 against Division III competition, and 5-0-1 in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Whitewater will next be in action on Sunday, February 22 at the WIAC championships in Oshkosh.
