The UW-Whitewater men's swimming and diving team opened their season with a 119-79 win over Carroll University Friday night.

The Warhawks were led by swimmers
Marcus Genrich (Janesville/Parker) and
Kyle Stoermer (Ozark, MO/Nixa) who recorded top honors in three races each.
Genrich took part in the 200 yard medley relay (1:44.93) as well as taking first in two individual events in the 200 yard individual medley (2:!0.46 and 100 yard breaststroke (1:05.69).
Stoermer swam a leg in the 400 freestyle relay that took first with a time of 3:23.26 as well as taking firsts in the 200 freestyle (1:53.35 and 500 freestyle (5:12.48) races.
The Warhawks are scheduled to host Lawrence University Saturday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the Williams Center natatorium.
