Bill Stenavich (Brookfield/Central) won two of his events and the men's team swept the 50 freestyle and the 100 butterfly at the Williams Center Pool in a 134-108 win over UW-Eau Claire Saturday in the Williams Center pool in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

Stenavich finished first in the 200 freestyle (1:49.56) and the 100 freestyle (49.19).
The 1-2-3 sweeps came in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly. Mike Huffman (Palatine, IL/Palatine) won the 50 free (22.31), followed by teammates Matt Wiswell (Monona/Monona Grove/McFarland) (22.72) and Adam Altenburg (Watertown/Watertown) (23.20). In the 100 butterfly it was Nate Glover (Milton/Milton) (56.22), Tyler Slak (Fort Atkinson/Fort Atkinson) (56.35), and Eric Nord (Hales Corner/Whitnall) (57.21) taking the top three spots.
Other first place points were provided by Andy Hanney (Grafton/Grafton) in the 100 backstroke (57.49) and two relays. The 200 medley relay of Jacob Christenson, Wiswell, Glover, and Altenburg finished at 1:43.52, and the 400 freestyle relay finished first touching at 3:19.16. The foursome included Huffman, Stenavich, Altenburg, and Nord.
Even though they finished second in their events, two Warhawks turned in team season best performances. Matt Mintz (Hinsdale, IL/Central) was timed in 10:16.84 in the 1000 freestyle, and Hanney touched in 2:06.77 in the 200 individual medley.
Whitewater is 5-2 in dual meets, including 3-1 against Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams.
The next meet for the men will be at home against UW-La Crosse Saturday, February 7 at 1:00 in the Williams Center pool.
