IWU's Christy Engel upped her mark to 12-3 with the win, a four-hitter.

The loss snapped a seven game win streak for the Warhawks.

Whitewater got up early again in game two, plating a pair of runs with the help of two errors by the Titans.  Cruz brought in a run in the third with a sacrifice fly to make it 3-0 through three.  In the top of the fourth junior designated hitter Angie Kelm (Markesan/Markesan) and junior rightfielder Suzanne Gersich (Wadsworth, IL/Warren) stroked two run homers to make it 7-0 Whitewater.  UW-W went yard again in the sixth, with Cruz and sophomore shortstop Amanda LeBeau (Worth, IL/Richards) hitting back to back home runs with two outs.  IWU got on the scoreboard on a solo homer by senior catcher Kelly Nelson in the bottom of the sixth, but it wasn't enough to prevent the game from ending early by the eight-run rule.

Junior righthander Dianna Frisbie (Juneau/Dodgeland), 4-0, started for the Warhawks and got relief help from sophomore righthander Nikole Schulty (Woodstock, IL/Woodstock)  Cruz went 3x3, and LeBeau and freshman second baseman Kate McDonnell (Aurora, IL/West Aurora) added two hits apiece.
